Method of extraction:
Thyme oil is steam- or water-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves.


-  Stimulates capillary blood circulation, has hypertensive, antispasmodic, cough-relieving antitoxic effects, induces urination, perspiration, reduces gassiness.

-  Fights exhaustion and neurasthenia, helps regain energy after a long day, improves concentration.

-  When used for inhalations, it helps treat respiratory diseases.

-  Stimulates blood and lymph circulation, suppresses rheumatic, muscle or joint aches, strengthens the immune system, normalizes low blood pressure, fights depression, mental and physical exhaustion.

-  In cosmetics and dermatology, it is used to fight early baldness, hair loss, dandruff, eczema, dermatitis.


*  Infections in troat-nose-ear area, respiratory tract, stomach-intestinal tract, and uro-genital system;

*  Asthenia, exhaustion, atony of the circulation and the digestion, anemia;

*  Joint and muscle rheumatism, gout;

* Intestinal parasites, mycosis, skin ailments.

Usage and doses:
For Baths: add 3-5 drops to a glass of yogurt or milk and pour in to the bath.
Massage: add 3 drops of essential oil to 10ml of basic oil.
Inhalation: 1-2 drops to 1l of hot water. 
Aroma lamps: 3-5 drops for 5 m2 of room.
Cosmetic: 3 drops for 5g cream, tonic or shampoo.
